Over the past couple of years our team has expanded and the services we provide have broadened. To reflect this, we have decided to change our company name.
We will now be known as Inara Home Imagery.
Inara means “ray of light”, "shining light" or "illumination" - and since our lighting technique is a crucial component of our style of property photography, it seemed fitting. We have chosen the word imagery (instead of photography) since we now also offer videography and lifestyle staging to maximise visual impact.
This name change took effect on Tuesday 3 January 2023. Please visit our new website and continue there!
Miriam – Founder/Owner and Lead Photographer
In 2011 Miriam started her photography business in Port Hedland, Western Australia. She built great relationships with regular corporate clients as well as having a studio for newborn photoshoots, a gallery for her landscape prints, and teaching photography lessons!
She gained property photography experience during the housing boom there, undertaking shoots for the Housing Industry Awards, the Department of Housing, and Jan Ford Real Estate.
She launched her business here in early 2016 after moving back to the UK, specialising in property photography for interior designers, architects, and estate agents. Clients include Build It magazine, Absolute Architecture, Enchanted Barn Interiors, Daisy Whitehead Designs, Thatcham Kitchen Design, CENA Outdoor Kitchens, Kellie Sabey Homes, Stowhill Estates, and many more!
Joanna – Office Manager
Joanna comes from a digital marketing background and is Miriam’s sister. In the summer of 2020 Miriam was snowed under with work so Joanna started to help out by taking over her social media channels and sourcing music for the property videos.
As time went on it was obvious Miriam needed even more help as she was so busy, and more and more work was being passed Joanna’s way… Until eventually, in June 2021, they made it official and joined forces full time. Joanna is home office-based and handles client enquiries, photoshoot bookings, delivery of photographs, virtual staging requests, website management, social media, and countless other tasks required to keep everything going smoothly!
GEMMa – Assistant Photographer / Lifestyle Stager
Gemma joined us in September 2021 and is training to be another specialist property photographer under Miriam’s guidance. She is studying to achieve her Level 3 Photography Apprenticeship qualification whilst working with us full time.
With a CPD in Interior Design & Home Styling and experience of working in both the luxury housing and the construction industries, Gemma has a great background to be learning to photograph properties beautifully. She also has a natural flair for styling properties, which led us to add our Property Styling / Lifestyle Staging service in early 2022.
You’ll find Gemma out and about on shoots with Miriam or working hard at her computer learning specialist editing skills and completing her coursework.
